Eternity is an album by the British doom metal band Anathema. It was released on November 11 1996 through Peaceville Records. Eternity marked the first shift in Anathema’s style and sound from their doom metal roots to alternative rock. It features a version of Roy Harper’s track “Hope”. The albums also shows a gothic influence.

Atheist are a technical death metal band from Florida, founded in 1984, whose music combined brutal riffs with subtle latin music arrangements and elements of jazz. Their second album, Unquestionable Presence, released in 1991, has been regarded by some critics as one of the most influential technical death metal albums of all time.

Beneath the Remains is the third studio album by Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura, released in 1989. It was their first release through Roadrunner Records.

Grave started in 1986 under the name Corpse and changed it to Grave in 1988. They recorded various demos during 1986–1991 and including some singles and EPs as well.
Leprosy is the second album released by Death in 1988. Notably different in tone and quality from the 1987 debut, it is the first example of Scott Burns’ work heard on many of the death metal and grindcore albums of that era. The cover is shown in Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey.
